Translation
I translate from English and Dutch into French.
Equally comfortable with technical and editorial texts, I translate all your private or professional documents, whether it is a web page, a report, a manual or a press release.
I use the computerassisted translation software Trados to translate all types of documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, pdf, ttx and other formats).
Legal translation
Thanks to my certificate of legal knowledge for sworn translators, I am able to translate your legal documents that require, or not, the certification of the Belgian courts. I am therefore able to translate your certificates, diplomas, legal acts, judgments, or any other official document.
Transcription
I transcribe your audio or video documents into text files, whether they are commercials, interviews, documentary films, or any other sound file you need in a written version.
All transcriptions will be from French, English or Dutch into French.
Revision and proofreading
Revision is a bilingual examination of the content in the target language, taking into account the content in the source language to assess its suitability for the agreed objective. In other words, it is a proofreading of a translation by comparing it with the original version. It aims to ensure the quality, both linguistic and functional.
Proofreading focuses on the target text only. The aim is to correct spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation errors, but also to improve vocabulary and sentence structures, to modify unnatural formulations, to remove unnecessary words and repetitions, and to bring coherence to the terminology.
